Dog Group Classes
Dates for Beginner Group Classes
- September TBC
Group classes are available. There will only be 4 dogs in the class which will be adapted during the course around the progress of the class. These will be run in blocks of a class a week over 4 weeks. Each class will be between 45 minutes and an hour.
Classes will cover life skills to help with
- Household manners
- Loose lead walking
- Off lead freedom
- Polite greetings to other dogs and people
- And more….
They will be aimed at either puppies or dogs with little or no training. It can also suit dogs that are new to you that have been rehomed or rescued.
All these classes use positive reinforcement, mostly using food but also toys or other things your dog finds reinforcing.
In each class I will teach you how to play a new game or exercise, building on it over the course with you doing some “homework” in between classes in order to get the most out it.
Dates for Follow On Group Classes

If you have completed my beginner class come along for a follow on set of classes, building on the foundations and working on some new things like doorway manners, travelling in a car and settling in a café as well as some advanced recall practice. We will look more at your mechanics to make training your dog easier and more effective. There will also be a chance to request a topic you would like covered. The last lesson will be out and about in public to really put your skills into real life practice. This class is also suitable for any dogs that have some previous training but need a top up or just want to learn some new skills with no particular issues.

Out and About Group Walk
Once a month I run a group walk, in different locations, so you can practice real life skills in real life. We will meet in different locations, with up to four dogs in the session, working on your dog focusing on you and being able to deal with the environment.
We will visit villages, towns, forest trails, cafes and other locations.
